Test Day

What Happens on Test Day?

1
Arrive & Wait

Arrive at the test centre 10 minutes early. Have your driving licence and theory test pass certificate ready.

2
Meet Your Examiner

The examiner will introduce themselves, check your eyesight with a number plate reading, and explain the test format.

3
Vehicle Safety Question

You will be asked one Tell Me / Show Me safety question before or during the test drive.

4
Independent Driving

For about 20 minutes, you drive independently following sat nav directions or road signs without guidance.

5
Manoeuvre

You will be asked to perform one manoeuvre — bay parking, parallel parking, or pulling up on the right.

6
Result & Debrief

The examiner gives you your result and explains any faults. If you pass, they will ask if you want a full licence application.
